This week we'll be attending the Dental Showcase in Birmingham. As the biggest dental show in the UK, it's a big date in the calendar for anyone involved in the dental industry. We'll be spreading the word about Munroe Sutton and how we are making a difference to the UK dental market.
At Munroe Sutton, the idea at the heart of what we do is to provide more affordable dental health treatment to individuals while bringing more potential patients to the private dental practices who are part of our dental network.
It's a proposition that we have successfully pioneered in the US (through our parent company Careington) and, now as individuals are increasingly turning to private dental care in the UK, one which is relevant over here.
The way we work is by offering a benefit for both dental practices and individuals.
By working through employers, membership bodies, insurers and cash plan providers, or by joining directly, individuals sign up to a money-saving Dental Discounts Scheme which offers a reduction of 20% on dental costs through our network of dentists.
Dental practices who join our network are promoted to scheme members near them when they are looking for treatment. We verify scheme members at the point of treatment and provide immediate payment to participating dental practices.
Of course, a scheme like this is only as good as its network and its insurance carrier and cash plan partners. Munroe Sutton has both of these. This year we have increased our network to over 2,000 participating dentists while increasing the number of partnerships we have with leading insurers and cash plan providers.
